Three held for murder
March 4th, 2011 - 1:09 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 3 (IANS) Three people have been arrested for killing a man after he insulted one of them for carrying on an affair with his wife, police said Thursday.
“Jamna Prasad, Ram and Santosh were apprehended from Sarai Kale Khan area in south Delhi Wednesday night for killing Tika Ram and dumping his body on the banks of the Yamuna river,” said a senior police officer.
The body was found Wednesday.
During interrogation, police found out that Jamna Prasad was having an illicit relationship with Tika Ram’s wife for last two years.
“Tika Ram insulted Jamna Prasad after he caught him sleeping with his wife. Furious over this, Jamna Prasad killed Tika Ram Tuesday, with the help of the others,” said the officer.
