Three Haryana cops killed in accident
August 3rd, 2010 - 8:01 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Aug 3 (IANS) Three Haryana policemen were killed and four others seriously injured when their vehicle collided with a government bus in a Punjab town Tuesday, police said.
Seven policemen, including a superintendent of police, were in the vehicle when the accident took place at Zirakpur town, around 10 km from here.
“Two policemen died on the spot,” Yogi Raj, the station house officer of Zirakpur, told IANS. “Five policemen were taken to hospital with serious injuries.” One of them succumbed to his injuries.
