Three foreigners arrested with heroin
December 21st, 2009 - 8:20 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Dec 21 (IANS) Three foreigners — two from Afghanistan and one from Nigeria — were arrested with 1.5 kg of heroin in the national capital, police said Monday.
Working on a tip-off, Delhi Police Crime Branch personnel arrested the trio from Pandit Pant Marg in central Delhi late Saturday, a police officer said.
“The Afghan nationals had come to Delhi from Kabul on Dec 17 and were staying in a hotel in Paharganj. The Nigerian national had come from Mumbai to collect the consignment. The drug was smuggled from Afghanistan,” the officer said.
