Three die in Delhi accident (Lead)

New Delhi, May 30 (IANS) A speeding car swerved dangerously to the left and smashed into two autorickshaws in the Indian capital Saturday, killing both auto drivers and one of the car occupants, police said.
Such was the impact of the accident that the autorickshaws were thrown against a tree, which broke into several pieces. The accident occurred at 5.30 a.m. near the upscale Soami Nagar in south Delhi.

Three people were injured and taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Eyewitness Kishore Yadav said: “The car smashed into two autos with passengers. The autos got crushed between the tree and the car.”
