Three dead in Pakistan drone strike
September 30th, 2011 - 4:50 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Sep 30 (IANS) At least three suspected militants were killed and two others injured Friday in a drone strike in northwest Pakistan’s tribal area, a media report said.
The people were travelling in a vehicle in Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan, near the border with Afghanistan, Xinhua reported citing ARY television channel.
This drone strike was reportedly the 54th of its kind in Pakistan in 2011. Over 460 people, most of them believed to be militants, have been killed in such strikes this year.
