Three criminals lynched in Jharkhand
January 4th, 2012 - 12:10 am ICT by IANSRanchi, Jan 3 (IANS) Three criminals were beaten to death by villagers in Jharkhand’s Gumla district Tuesday, police said.
According to police, the three criminals had allegedly gone to Solwa village to kill a contractor, but were spotted when they were hiding themselves in bushes.
As the villagers tried to catch them, the criminals opened fire, injuring some children.
The angered villagers then beat the three to death. Two of three have been identified as Indrasen and Kuldeep Sahu, both having a criminal background.
Gumla is around 130 km from Ranchi.
