Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced a compensation of Rs.8 lakh to the kin of each of the deceased, besides an insurance claim of Rs.10 lakh, an official of the chief minister’s office here told IANS.
The injured have been moved to a hospital in Cuttack for better treatment and the government will bear the cost, he added.
