Three accidents claim six lives in Maharashtra

Mumbai, March 20 (IANS) At least six people were killed in three road accidents Thursday in Beed district in Maharashtra. A Tata Sumo car rammed into a tractor killing three people at Jalna Thursday afternoon. The deceased were identified as Dadasaheb Thombre, Sahebrao Shindare and Shivaji Shindare. The police have arrested the driver of the car, Rajesh Pawar.

Earlier in the day, a Maruti Omni rammed into a tree at Wadwani killing the driver. Late Wednesday night, a truck rammed into another car killing one person.
