‘The Descendants’ bags best drama Golden Globe
January 16th, 2012 - 11:36 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Jan 16 (IANS) Alexander Payne’s “The Descendants” bagged the Golden Globe award in the best motion picture - drama category.
The movie, about a land baron who tries to reconnect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident, features George Clooney, Judy Greer, Shailene Woodley and Amara Miller.
It pipped other nominations in the category - “The Help”, “Hugo”, “The Ides Of March”, “Moneyball” and “War Horse”.
