Terrorists kill civilian in south Kashmir village
January 24th, 2012 - 3:06 pm ICT by IANSSrinagar, Jan 24 (IANS) Terrorists Tuesday killed a civilian in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police said the militants barged into the house of Ajaz Ahmad Shah, 40, a resident of Shobdani Newa village in Pulwama, 30 km from here.
“Militants forced their entry into the house of Ajaz Ahmad Shah, firing indiscriminately at him. Shah died on the spot,” a senior police officer said here.
In October last year, a foreign guerrilla identified as Rehman Bhai was killed in a gunfight in this village.
Tuesday’s attack is believed to be a reprisal by the guerrillas.
