Ten trains to bring paramilitary forces
December 30th, 2011 - 7:39 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, Dec 30 (IANS) Ten special trains have been booked to ferry thousands of paramilitary forces to Uttar Pradesh for the state elections in Febraury.
Special coaches are also been added to a dozen trains, officials said Friday.
These special trains would transport personnel from the Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Central Reserve Police Force for deployment in the seven-phase balloting.
The services of the Railway protection Force are also being sought.
The security forces would be posted in Varanasi, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Faizabad, Pratapgarh, Azamgarh and Bareilly, the officials said.
