Lucknow, June 4 (IANS) A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj district set his two teenaged sons on fire after they refused to serve liquor to him. The condition of both boys is critical, police said Thursday.
“The incident took place late Wednesday in Dadaurakhurd village, where Brij Kishore set his two sons on fire by pouring kerosene oil,” Inspector D.C. Gupta told IANS by phone. Kannauj is about 250 km from Lucknow.

According to police, the boys were sleeping when Kishore came and asked them to serve him liquor. When they refused to get up, an angry Kishore set them ablaze.

Police Thursday registered a case against Kishore on a complaint filed by his wife.

“We are conducting raids in various places in the village to nab him,” said Gupta.
