Teenager crushed to death by Blueline bus
April 26th, 2009 - 9:08 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, April 26 (IANS) An 18-year-old youth was killed and his friend was injured when a Blueline bus hit their scooter in the national capital Sunday, police said.
Aalekh, a Class 10 student, was driving the scooter and his friend, Vineet, 19, was riding pillion when the accident took place at Vardhaman Chowk in north Delhi Sunday afternoon, police said.
“They were rushed to a hospital where Aalekh succumbed to his injuries while Vineet is undergoing treatment,” a police officer said.
Angry over the incident, local residents damaged the bus. The driver of the Blueline bus managed to escape, the officer said.
