Teacher accused of molestation surrenders
December 6th, 2010 - 10:00 pm ICT by IANSPanchkula (Haryana), Dec 6 (IANS) A school teacher accused of sexually harassing five girl students Monday surrendered in a court, which granted him bail.
Sham Bahadur Thapa of the Army Public School was booked Sunday for allegedly sexually harassing the Class 5 students. The complaint came from school principal N.R. Baberwal.
However, Thapa went missing Sunday evening, police said. He surrendered at the court Monday evening.
The Army Public School, which is over 25 years old, is situated at the Chandimandir cantonment area, around 10 km from Chandigarh.
