Tamil Nadu governor congratulates Pranab

Chennai, July 22 (IANS) Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah Sunday congratulated Pranab Mukherjee on his election as India’s 13th president.
In his message, Rosaiah said: “Please accept my heartiest congratulations on your election as the President of India. Your rich acumen, vibrant knowledge, wealth of experience and foresight will steer our nation to greater heights and place it on a high pedestal among the comity of nations.”
Mukherjee defeated former Lok Sabha speaker P.A. Sangma with a huge margin in the July 19 presidential poll.
