Noida, July 12 (IANS) Worried about the safety of dentist Rajesh Talwar, released from jail Saturday, and his wife Nupur Talwar, their relatives are planning to hire private security guards for them. “We are thinking of hiring private security personnel as we are worried about his (Rajesh) and Nupur’s security,” said a close relative of the Talwars.

After Rajesh Talwar released from the jail Saturday, the family drove him to the home of Nupur’s parents, a stone’s throw away from the Talwars’ residence in Jal Vayu Vihar in Noida.

A private security guard was deployed at the entrance of the staircase leading to third floor of the apartment after Rajesh Talwar reached his in-law’s home.

“He (the guard) is the personal security guard of a close relative of Talwar and was here to manage media persons who almost mobbed Rajesh at Dasna jail,” said a family source.

Two sub-inspectors and two constables of Noida police were also present there.

“Police have been sent to ensure that there is no law and order problem in the area,” a police officer said.

The Noida police had arrested Rajesh Talwar after the murder of his teenaged daughter Aarushi and the family’s domestic help Hemraj.

Aarushi, 14, was found dead May 16 in the Jal Vayu Vihar home. The police initially suspected Hemraj but his body was found from the terrace of the same building a day later.

Police initially said Talwar had killed his daughter in a fit of rage as he objected to her alleged closeness with Hemraj.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the case after the Noida police was criticised for its “shoddy” investigations.

The CBI Friday cleared Talwar of all charges and named his compounder Krishna and two domestic helps of the area, Rajkumar and Vijay Mandal, as being behind the murders.
