Swiss national found dead in Himachal

The body of Martin Karl, a Swiss national, was found from a house near Manikaran, 60 km from district headquarters town Kullu early Tuesday morning, Superintendent of Police (Kullu) K.K. Indoria told IANS on phone.
He said that Karl, 59, was staying as a paying guest for the past many days.
“The Swiss national was carrying multi-purpose visa. Two sachets of ‘charas’ (cannabis) were recovered from his room,” he said.
The Swiss embassy in New Delhi has been informed, the police official said.
Manikaran, a famous tourist spot for hot water sulphur springs and a Sikh shrine, is some 300 kms from state capital Shimla.
