Sunny day in Delhi, thunderstorms likely
March 28th, 2011 - 12:01 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 28 (IANS) It was a bright, sunny Monday morning with the minimum temperature around two degrees above average for the season. The weather office has predicted dust and thunderstorms towards the night.
“It would be a warm day. The sky is expected to become partly cloudy towards the evening. There is a possibility of dust and thunderstorms,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
“The maximum and minimum temperatures Monday are likely to stay around 37 and 20 degrees Celsius respectively,” the weatherman said.
The maximum temperature Sunday was 35.6 degrees Celsius, four notches above the average.
Humidity stood at 82 percent.
