Sunny, cool morning for Delhiites

New Delhi, May 23 (IANS) After an overcast weekend, Delhiites woke up to a sunny but pleasant morning Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 21.9 degrees Celsius, four notches below the average for the season.

Rainfall recorded was 0.2 mm, an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

“The skies would be clear during the day. Evening is expected to be partly cloudy,” the IMD official said.

Maximum temperature recorded Sunday was 33.9 degrees Celsius, five degrees below the normal for the season.

“Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 37 and 24 degrees Celsius,” added the official.

Humidity recorded was 76 percent.
