Sun smiles on Delhi, raises temperature
January 21st, 2009 - 12:34 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 21 (IANS) Delhiites Wednesday experienced a warm winter day with the sun shining brightly over the capital. The minimum temperature settled at 10.2 degrees Celsius - two notches above Tuesday’s eight degrees. The maximum temperature was 21 degrees.
“The minimum temperature will hover around 10 to 12 degree Celsius. The night could be chilly with westerly winds blowing over northern India,” an official at the Safdarjung Meteorological office said.
The met department has forecast a mainly clear sky with mist in the morning.
Domestic and international flights at the Indira Gandhi International airport were on schedule with clear visibility on all runways.
