New Delhi, Dec 12 (IANS) A clear sunny Friday morning ensured that all flights from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) were on schedule after two days of flight delays and cancellations due to poor visibility. “All the flights are running on schedule as visibility at IGIA is very good since early Friday,” an IGIA official told IANS.

The runway visibility is much above the minimum required 750 metres and all runways are operational, the official added.

One flight was cancelled and over a dozen were delayed Thursday as the runway visibility dropped below 400 metres after a thick layer of fog engulfed the airport. About 10 to 15 flights were delayed Wednesday also following poor visibility.
