Suicide bombing rocks Afghanistan city
September 27th, 2011 - 2:42 pm ICT by IANSKabul, Sep 27 (IANS) Sixteen people were either killed or injured Tuesday in a suicide car bombing in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province in south Afghanistan, an official said.
The “suicide car bomb attack happened next to police department in the morning rush hour in Lashkar Gah city, killing and injuring some people including civilians”, said spokesman for provincial administration Daud Ahmadi.
Kamaludin Shirzad, a police official, told Xinhua that 16 people were either killed or injured in the huge blast.
