Students go on rampage in Aligarh
December 7th, 2011 - 10:24 pm ICT by IANSAligarh, Dec 7 (IANS) Students pelted stones, torched vehicles and went about smashing windscreens of buses here Wednesday after a student of a intermediate college was crushed to death by a truck, police said.
Students belonging to classes 10, 11 and 12 set the truck afire, pelted stones at cops and even torched some police vehicles.
Police had to use tear gas shells to disperse the mob.
A police officer said security was intensified in the area to prevent further violence.
