Storm warning hoisted at Orissa ports
September 22nd, 2011 - 6:53 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Sep 22 (IANS) Orissa Thursday hoisted storm warning signals at all its four ports even as the weather office forecast heavy rain at a few places in northern parts of the state during the next 24 hours.
Fishermen have been advised not to venture out into the sea as conditions would get rough off the state coast, an official of the Bhubaneswar meteorological centre told IANS.
The storm warning has been hoisted at Paradip, Gopalpur, Chandbali and Puri ports, he said.
