Stock broker kidnapped in Gurgaon
March 2nd, 2010 - 5:50 pm ICT by IANSGurgaon, March 2 (IANS) A 27-year-old stock broker was kidnapped here for ransom while he was returning from office, police said Tuesday.
Amit Garg, living in the posh Palam Vihar area here, was kidnapped Sunday while returning from his office in DLF, police added.
Garg’s brother received a call for Rs.5 lakh ransom. A case of kidnapping has been registered, police said.
“We are working on the case but can’t share much detail as it could affect the investigation,” Gurgaon Police Deputy Commissioner Pat Ram said.
