Srinath Raghavan wins K. Subrahmanyam Award
November 11th, 2011 - 9:50 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 11 (IANS) Srinath Raghavan, a senior fellow at the Centre for Policy Research, Friday won the K. Subrahmanyam Award instituted by think tank Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA).
Defence Minister A.K. Antony presented the award to Raghavan on the occasion of 47th Foundation Day of IDSA here.
The CPR senior fellow won the award for his book “War and Peace in Modern India: Strategic History of Nehru Years”.
Antony also presented the IDSA President’s Award to six present and former IDSA scholars — Brig. Harinder Singh, Wg. Cdr. Ajey Lele, Anit Mukherjee, Laxman Kumar Behera, Joe Thomas Karackattu and Dr. Sarita Azad — for their research articles published in peer reviewed journals of international standing and repute.
