Somnath Chatterjee discharged from hospital

New Delhi, Nov 8 (IANS) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee, who was admitted to the Army Research and Referral Hospital here after he complained of chest congestion and fatigue, was discharged Saturday, officials said.Chatterjee, 79 was taken to hospital Wednesday night and was diagnosed as suffering from a bout of bronchopneumonia.
“Doctors have advised him complete rest for a week. All the scheduled engagements for the coming week stand cancelled,” a statement from his office said.
