Somdev unchanged at 84 in ATP rankings

New Delhi, Oct 17 (IANS) India’s Somdev Devvarman remained static on 84 in the men’s singles rankings while Sania Mirza gained two places in the women’s singles charts released Monday.
Somdev, who bowed out of the first round of Shanghai Masters, will now feature in the Stockholm Open, where he first plays German wildcard Tommy Haas.
In the women’s singles, Sania, who is out of action owing to a left knee injury, is at 86th place. She, however, dropped a place in the doubles rankings to 12th position.
In the men’s doubles, Mahesh Bhupathi slipped a place to seven while Leander Paes in unchanged at the eighth position.
