Somali pirates free weapons laden Ukrainian ship
February 5th, 2009 - 5:53 pm ICT by IANSKiev, Feb 5 (Xinhua) Somali pirates have freed an Ukrainian ship laden with weapons including 33 tanks, the Ukrainian government said Thursday.The ship MV Faina was seized off the coast of Somalia in September and was bound for the Kenyan port of Mombasa. It was transporting a cargo of 33 T-72 tanks and other armament.
