The Indica car ploughed into the Indane gas tanker along the Delhi-Kanpur highway in the Sikandarabad town, killing the victims on the spot.
“Those killed are in the age group of 18-25 years. It appears that the men were in an inebriated state. Several liquor bottles and packets of snacks have been recovered from the car,” police inspector O.P. Chaudhary told reporters in Bulandshahr, some 400 km from here.
Police said the victims were returning to their home in Ghaziabad district from a marriage function in the Madhuban area of Bulandshahr.
