Six people burnt to death in Madhya Pradesh
March 17th, 2010 - 5:46 pm ICT by IANSBhopal, March 17 (IANS) Six people, among them three children and two women, were burnt alive in Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone district when the house in which they were sleeping caught fire, police said Wednesday.
The accident occurred late Tuesday in Bagauda village when the six were fast asleep. The flames were so intense that the victims could not escape and were burnt alive.
Those killed included three girls Munni, Sheetal and Shivani, all between the ages of six to 12, and two women Jayanti and Chanda Bai. The sixth victim, Rakesh, died later.
The head of the family Mannu Sirvi was away when the accident occurred.
The cause of fire is yet to be determined.
