Six of family killed in accident
October 13th, 2011 - 12:26 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, Oct 13 (IANS) Six members of a family were killed when a speeding mini-truck rammed into their car in Uttar Pradesh’s Shravasti district Thursday, police said.
The accident took place in Ikauna town, some 200 km from here, when executive officer Prithviraj Tiwari, along with his family, was on his way to his parental house in Uttar Pradesh’s Ambedkar Nagar district.
“All the six people, including two women, died on the spot,” police inspector Ram Bali Rai said. The truck driver escaped.
