Lucknow, May 12 (IANS) Six people were killed and 10 injured when the jeep they were travelling in collided with a bus in a village near here Monday, police said. “The accident occurred early in the morning when the jeep coming from Barabanki collided with the bus at Nivada village,” police officer Anil Shukla told IANS.

“The injured have been admitted to the Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University,” he said.

The driver and conductor of the bus fled the scene after the accident, the official added.
