Six from Maharashtra killed in Andhra
October 28th, 2011 - 1:26 pm ICT by IANSHyderabad, Oct 28 (IANS) Six people were killed and seven injured in a road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Nizamabad district Friday, police said.
The accident took place when a Tata Sumo lost control after one of its front tyres burst and hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction at Mortatd in Nizamabad district, about 250 km from here.
Six people travelling in the Tata Sumo were killed and four others injured. The three people on the motorcycle were also injured.
A police officer said the deceased were from Dharmabad in Maharashtra and were going to Adilabad district to attend a relative’s funeral.
