Six DTC buses caught fire this year (Chronology)
December 12th, 2009 - 5:15 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Dec 12 (IANS) Six Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses have caught fire this year, raising serious concerns about safety of passengers travelling in them. Following is a chronology of the incidents:
Dec 12: Low floor bus catches fire near Prahaladpur in south Delhi.
Dec 12: Another low floor bus goes up in flames near Akshardham flyover in east Delhi.
Dec 3: Low floor bus catches fire in Moti Nagar in west Delhi.
Nov 30: Low floor catches fire near Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in central Delhi.
Nov 26: A DTC school bus catches fire in east Delhi.
Mar 30: Low floor bus catches fire near RML.
