Six dead in Bengal road accident
April 22nd, 2012 - 4:16 am ICT by IANSKolkata, April 22 (IANS) Six people were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided head-on with a lorry coming from the opposite direction in West Bengal’s Hooghly district, police said early Sunday.
The accident took place on the Durgapur Expressway at Haripal Saturday evening, police said.
Five people died on the spot and one person succumbed to injuries on way to a hospital.
