Six dead in Argentina metro, bus collision
September 13th, 2011 - 7:00 pm ICT by IANSBuenos Aires, Sep 13 (IANS) At least six people were killed and over 100 injured when a metro train and a bus collided near the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires early Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
The accident took place around 6 a.m. close to a metro station. The train collided with the bus when it was rushing to cross a road junction while the crossing gate was coming down, police said.
Metro services in the capital were disrupted, officials said.
Some passengers were trapped in the damaged metro compartments and the bus, reports said.
