Shooting ‘What’s Your Raashee?’ more challenging than ‘Jodhaa Akbar’: Gowariker

New Delhi, Jan 9 (IANS) Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker is shooting his next venture “What’s Your Raashee?” across 65 locations in Mumbai and says shooting for the film is more challenging than his epic romance “Jodhaa Akbar”.”Shooting for ‘What’s Your Raashee?’ has been far more challenging than ‘Jodhaa Akbar’. This is because with this film, we are not shooting in one location and we are always on the move. This is more time consuming, but at the same time it is an exciting experience,” said Gowariker.
Based on a Gujarati novel “Kimball Ravenswood” by noted playwright Madhu Rye, the film revolves around a young Gujarati guy, played by Harman Baweja, in pursuit of his dream girl, Priyanka Chopra, who he must find within 10 days to save his family from an unforeseen ordeal.
“The film is in its second schedule now. Few parts of this schedule will also be shot in Chicago as well as Baroda. Gowariker is hoping to wrap it up by April,” said a source close to the project.
“What’s Your Raashee?” is jointly produced by Gowariker’s wife Sunita and UTV’s Ronnie Screwvala.
