Shimla airport remains shut
July 1st, 2011 - 3:00 pm ICT by IANSShimla, July 1 (IANS) Flights in and out of this Himachal Pradesh capital remained suspended for the ninth consecutive day Friday owing to poor weather conditions, an official said here.
“Flights from Delhi to Shimla remained suspended. This time it was due to poor ground visibility,” an airport official told IANS.
He said the flights have been suspended since June 23 owing to torrential rains and lower cloud formations in Shimla.
