Seven Maoists arrested, landmine recovered
March 3rd, 2012 - 8:36 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, March 3 (IANS) Seven Maoist guerrillas were arrested and a landmine recovered in three separate incidents in Jharkhand Saturday, police said.
Five rebels, including a woman, were arrested from a jungle in Khuti district during a joint operation by police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Arms, ammunition and a map of CRPF camp were seized from them.
Two Maoists were arrested in another joint operation near Konar dam in Bokaro district.
Police recovered a 20 kg landmine from Saranda jungle in West Singhbhum district.
