Seven Maoists arrested in Jharkhand
August 14th, 2011 - 5:20 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Aug 14 (IANS) A day before the Independence Day, seven Maoists were arrested Sunday in Jharkhand, police said.
The guerrillas belonging to the People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were arrested from Majhilatoli village within the Angada police station jurisdiction here, said Senior Superintendent of Police Saket Kumar.
Police seized one rifle, three illegally-made revolvers, five 9mm magazines, liver cartridges, letterhead and dress of PLFI, nine mobile phones and 11 SIM cards.
These Maoists were found pasting posters in some parts of Namkom and Tatisilwai of Ranchi.
