Seven killed in Rajasthan road accident
May 6th, 2012 - 12:21 am ICT by IANSJaipur, May 6 (IANS) Seven people were killed and six seriously wounded Saturday when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a speeding truck in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district, police said.
The vehicle was carrying about 15 passengers when the accident took place near Kishangarh, some 100 km from Jaipur.
“The deceased were labourers working at marble factories in Kishangarh. They were on their way to the factories when a speeding truck rammed into their vehicle,” a police officer told IANS.
A first information report has been registered for rash and negligent driving against the truck driver, who escaped from the spot.
