Seven insurgents killed in Afghanistan
September 26th, 2011 - 3:18 pm ICT by IANSKabul, Sep 26 (IANS) Afghan and NATO-led forces have killed seven insurgents and captured 32 in eastern Afghanistan, the NATO-led coalition said Monday.
Xinhua quoted the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) as saying that civilians also turned over a huge weapons cache to the security forces.
This included two anti-tank mines, an anti-personnel mine, homemade explosives, improvised explosive device components, 24 rocket primers, two 82 mm recoilless rifle rounds and two bolt actions rifles.
