Seven injured as shop roof collapses
August 12th, 2010 - 8:12 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Aug 12 (IANS) Seven people were injured when the roof of a shop collapsed at Gole Market area in central Delhi early Thursday, officials said.
“The incident took place at around 1:55 a.m. Thursday near Bangla Sweet House in Gole Market area when the seven were sleeping,” a Fire Brigade official said.
The victims were identified as Subhash Pandey, 35, Alam, 20, Dilshad, 20, Ram Sher, 65, Sahis, 15, Irfan, 35 and Abhinandan, 17. All worked in the shop, a police official said.
“Subhash, Alam and Dilshad were admitted in the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital and the other four were taken to the Lady Hardinge hospital,” officials said.
