Seven die as militants fire at bus
July 29th, 2011 - 9:11 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, July 29 (IANS) At least seven people were killed and many injured when militants with assault rifles fired at a bus in Pakistan’s Quetta city Friday, media reports said.
The attack took place on Saryab Road in the Balochistan capital, Online news agency reported. The bus was going from Quetta to Taftan, Pakistan’s only official border crossing into Iran.
Witnesses told Geo News that four people died on the spot while three succumbed to their injuries at a hospital.
