Seven dead in New York accident
April 30th, 2012 - 5:26 am ICT by IANSWashington, April 30 (IANS) As many as seven people, including three children, were killed Sunday after a van in the New York city plunged off a highway into a zoo, police said.
The out-of-control van flipped off the highway and fell some 50 feet (15 metres) into the Bronx Zoo, killing all aboard the vehicle, Xinhua quoted a police spokesperson as saying.
It landed in a relatively remote section of the zoo and did not injure any other person or animal.
