Seven arrested for drug trafficking in Ghaziabad
October 20th, 2010 - 11:10 pm ICT by IANSGhaziabad, Oct 20 (IANS) Seven people, including five students, were arrested for supplying brown sugar in different educational institutes of Ghaziabad, police said Wednesday.
The police recovered 350 gm of brown sugar from their possession.
The students have been identified as Kapil Tyagi, Akash Tyagi of Modinagar-based K.N. Modi Institute of Engineering & Technology and Vikas Tyagi of DJ Engineering College.
The other arrested have been identified as Rajendra Kumar, Manish, Jagmohan and Pankaj.
Acting on a tip-off, the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police and Ghaziabad police jointly nabbed the accused Tuesday night.
