The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index gained 1.88 points on Friday (August 15th), or 0.27 percent higher, to close at 707.48. The market value was around 9,884400,000 baht, with about 2,553,413,000 shares being traded.

Yesterday, the SET100 Index closed at 1,080.15 points, increasing by 3.52, or 0.33 percent higher. The SET50 Index closed at 501.50 points, increasing by 1.93, or 0.39 percent higher. The FSTHL Index also went up 3.64 points, or 0.44 percent higher, to close at 834.05. The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) Index however lost 2.02 points, or 0.81 percent lower, to close at 247.61.

The top five most active values were as follows.

PTT increased to 270.00 baht, up by 2.00 (+0.75)

TTA increased to 41.50 baht, up by 0.50 (+1.22)

PTTEP remained at 148.00 baht.

BANPU remained at 386.00 baht.

SCB increased to 84.00 baht, up by 1.50 (+1.82%)
