Servant loots former employer’s house
May 4th, 2011 - 12:42 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 3 (IANS) A servant along with four accomplices barged into his former employer’s house, overpowered his wife and robbed cash and jewellery worth Rs.25 lakh here in broad day light Tuesday, police said.
“Sanjay and his companions entered Dalbir Manchanda’s house in Maurya Enclave in north Delhi around 4 p.m. They overpowered Beena Manchanda, who was alone in the house, tied her and decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs.25 lakh,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Meenu Chaudhary.
Police said Sanjay was well aware of the Manchanda family’s daily routines in the house as he was employed there in the past.
