Security guard arrested for stealing laptops
November 20th, 2009 - 9:09 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS) Delhi Police Friday arrested a security guard for stealing laptops from a warehouse where he worked, a police official said Friday.
Neeraj Kumar Verma was arrested from New Delhi district and nine stolen laptops were recovered from his possession.
“We received information that one person, who has stolen laptops, will come to sale in Computer Market, Wazirpur Industrial Area. Acting on this information we laid a trap and arrested him on Nov 17,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (northwest) N.S. Bundela said.
On interrogation Verma admitted he had stolen the laptops from a warehouse in Mahipalpur Extension in Vasant Kunj where he worked as a security guard.
